Animal Resources
The Program for Animal Resources (PAR) is committed to providing the best animal care program possible.
The AAALAC-certified Animal Vivarium provides for the procurement, housing, and care of laboratory animals. Facilities are available to investigators for major surgery, post-operative care, radiology, and necropsy. The Vivarium also provides housing and care for animals in studies. The facilities and programs for animal care at the Alkek building comply with state and federal laws and NIH policies.
