Biography
Dr. Razan Fakieh is a postdoctoral research associate in Dr. Kenneth Ramos’ lab. She received her Ph.D. in medical sciences from Texas A&M Health Science Center Institute of Biosciences and Technology, where she completed her training as a geneticist in Dr. David Reiner’s lab. She has significant research expertise in molecular and cellular biology concerning cell signaling genetics. Her current cancer-related research examines polymorphic profiles of retro- transposable element LINE-1 in lung cancer. She has a passion for teaching, adopting learning strategies and connecting with others. She cannot resist the allure of the outdoors, especially hiking.
